CNSL Resin Cement
CNSL Resin Cement can be used for Acid Resistant Bricks/ Tiles lining as bedding and jointing mortar as well as jointing Stoneware Pipes that are resistant to chemicals.
It can be suitably used for ETP Plants. It is suitable for applications that demand excellent resistant property and heavy impacts subjected to the surface of tank and floors. Cashew CNSL mortar can be set strongly on different kinds of surface, like concrete, metal and ceramic. It can also be used as a monolithic lining in the dilute acids storage tanks construction.
Resistant: It is resistant to Alkalies, Acids, mixed alkaline solutions with acids.
Resistant to temperature: 170oC (Max.)
Preparation of Mortar: Use powder and solution in the preparation of Mortar. The average mixing ratio must be of 1 Pbw of Solution & 3 pbw of Powder for obtaining good working consistency. Different temperature and working conditions require different ratio.
Mortar is prepared in small batches. The solution and powder must be mixed thoroughly in the mixing pan using a spatula or Trowel. Both must be mixed until a uniform mixture is obtained. The complete mortar from the pan must be used before preparing another batch.
Surface Preparation: Make sure the cement plastered surface must be slightly rough, dry & clean, and maintain required slope.
Setting / Curing: Cashew CNSL Resin Mortar is a Self-hardening given to the chemical reaction caused by mixing Powder & Resin together.
- An initial setting occurs in 10 hrs. at 30oC
- Final Setting occurs in 24 to 48 hrs. at 30oC
- Curing time: 7 days at 30oC
Do not spill any water over the bricks lining works before it completely cured.
Storage Life:
- Solution: 12 Months at the temperature 30oC (+2OC)
- Powder: 6 Months at the temperature 30oC (+2OC)
Both components must be kept in cool and dry place under the roof in their original unopened containers.
